One World - One Heart - Many Stories for Haiti

The New Hampshire Storytelling Alliance &
The Central New Hampshire Storytelling Guild

from Lauretta Phillips

Just want to let everyone know that the concert, "One World - One Heart - Many Stories for Haiti" went very well.

A great line up of stories and storytellers got rousing applause and earned $500 for Partners in Health (a Boston based agency with a 25 year presence in Haiti).

I am very proud of the fact that I am associated with such a dedicated and professional group of storytellers as the group that gathered to share stories in the Horseshoe Pond Place.

The line up included Peter Brodeur, Pat Spalding, Angela Klingler (producer and organizer) Meredith Bird-Miller, David Emerson and Ruth Niven.

I got to be Emcee, and had great fun!

Two teenage girls from Haiti were there.

Cora and John Ciampi brought pictures of their mission trips to Haiti. Cora also talked about Haiti before and after the quake.

Ruth Niven spent the morning baking a bunch of cookies and not a one went to waste. Angela Klinglers husband was the techy for the evening and I am sure working with techno challenged folks like me is not an easy task.

Thanks to everyone who participated and to those who came to listen and donate

Thanks to Horse Shoe Pond Place for letting us use the Senior Center Community Room.
